What Is Antibody Test?
Coronavirus antibody test is different from COVID-19 test, as it detects the presence of antibodies to coronavirus in the patient’s blood.
Antibodies are special protein molecules produced by the immune system produces them in 10 days after onset of the infection, but they remain positive for a long time since recovery.
This is why the antibody test can be used to detect a past infection with coronavirus.
Who Can Do COVID-19 Antibody Test?
AllCare carries out antibody test only if the patients do not have any signs or symptoms of active infection anymore. Mild cough or runny nose are considered as symptoms, thus, we have to wait 7 days for you to recover and be ready for antibody test.
AllCare offers the blood test to asymptomatic patients at ANY of our locations.
